Champion 4000 Generator-won't start

Hello, looked around to see if this had been addressed.
"Generator Won't start". After a very rough road in Colorado, set up, and ran the Generator for maybe 4 minutes. Just quit. Checked Oil level, removed plug, valve cover, carb bowl, jet, air cleaner, rope start cover. Everything except pulling the flywheel. Had spark, but wouldn't run.
Reading later......rough roads! Reach under the panel, unplug the Yellow and Green wire coming from the Oil switch....Start, run 15 minutes, reconnect the wires. Runs like a top now, as always. Just passing this along. I know there are a lot of these Generators out there....
