There has been some discussion on this forum about hooking two generators to each leg of a 50 amp circuit for those with 50 amp shore power and whether it would work or have cross feed/phase problems.
Champion now makes a parallel kit for 2800 watt (& higher) inverter models that does this. There is also a Canadian version.
Question and answer section (of the Canadian version) says you can even hook the parallel kit up to only one generator (when lesser wattage is needed) and still take advantage of the 50 amp receptacle. I wouldn't know why it wouldn't apply to the USA version too. I just think no one asked that question under the USA section.
