Cigarette plug no longer works

I was using in inverter with the cigarette plug adapter in my trailer and one of the times I was removing the adapter I saw a little spark like there was a short and now the 12v adapter no longer works. I tested the inverter in another 12v system and it works fine.

Is there a reset button somewhere or would that normally be a fuse issue?

I would appreciate any assistance or similar issues anyone has had to fix it.

Thanks!

If ypu are talking about the male end of cig plug some of those have an internal; fuse it just screws apart fuse is then visable

Since the inverter works in other plugs, it's not going to be the fuse in the male plug. You need to check the fuse for the cigarette lighter.

Figured it out

After checking all of the blade fuses in the fuse panel and nearly getting to the last one I found one blown. Replaced the fuse and shazam it's working again. Bought extras in case it happens again.

Thanks for the responses!

Sorry I went back and reread and yes it would be the cig lighter power plug that fuse may be blown in. I have had some that had the wire come loose on that caused it to not work and fuse was ok.
