Circuit Breaker - Where to buy?

I want to add a 20A (120VAC) additional circuit to my 2013 Forest River Cedar Creek. The OEM panel has one, double (2 pole) space available.
Any idea where I can find a CB? Current CBs are model #MH-7. Not having much luck locating this item. I would install a single or 2 pole device. Thanks.

Did you try Home Depot or Lowes? I got mine there. Just note make and type of breaker, because there is a difference between breakers.

I'm betting those are type MH-T not 7.

Could be. My eyes ain't what they used to be. I looked at several in the panel and decided it was a "dash 7". I'll look again. What I am concerned about is the physical construction...I need one that will mate with the panel of course and cannot see exactly what existing ones look like. I really don't want to pull one if possible. Any info of box store part numbers is appreciated. I realize this isn't rocket science but just want it to "pop in" when I buy it. Thanks!

Can I offer you an alternative suggestion?

I cut a hole in side wall next to reefer on the slide on drivers side. Put a regular elec. receptacle inside, and connected it to one of these on the outside:

https://www.westmarine.com/buy/marin...91?recordNum=4

Then I just connect an extension cord to the extra 20 amp plug found on most power pedestals. That way, anything I connect inside is not using any of my normal power available to the camper.

Note: The two holes have to be offset, the wall is too thin to put them back to back. Also, ensure that between the two holes, there is NOT any kind of aluminum cross member.

Simply remove one and take it into HD, Lowes, Ace or similar place and ask for one the same type/brand. Failing that, you could always go to an electrical wholesaler. An RV dealer or parts vendor may have one but expect to pay a lot more.

What brand of panel/converter? You could always inquire with them.

Found them at Home Depot...Duhhh. Boy, do I feel stupid. The orange picture shuda clued me in. Thanks for help with the part number too. That's what was messing my searches up I think. Lowe's also has 20/20A so I might just buy one of those...it's much closer than HD for me and I'll not be using the second 20 anyway.
Thanks again...and to all for replies!

If you have a 30 amp panel and electric hot water, A/C and reefer you might be going against electrical code. FR couldn't do it but you can. Not a safety issue...a code issue.

?
Why is adding a circuit against code?

I got my breaker from home Depot online, delivered to store for free.

Little known NEC section 551-42(c): for adding breakers over the maximum limit of five and allowing for more than two, thermostatically controlled appliances.

This is the just the NEC trying to keep RV owners from constantly tripping main breakers when automatic temperature controlled loads cycle using a 30 amp panel. As I said, not a safety concern but the RV manufacturers need to obey.

I agree. We installed a built-in vacuum. Draws 12 amps and needs it own dedicated circuit. Also installed permanent electric heating (2000 watts) with a 20 amp breaker. Only way to do it is "violate" the NEC.

Worst thing that will happen to anyone is simply tripping the 30 amp main breaker (or pedestal breaker).

You can add a 1500 watt fireplace and plug it into a receptacle that came on an RV no issue. But if you want to do better and install a dedicated circuit on it's own breaker, you won't be following code.

When it comes to circuits in an RV panel, the only ones who really need to follow it is the panel manufacturers. Doesn't affect RV manufacturers because they have to wire circuits per code and the available breakers, but if an owner adds a breaker there is no one who will ever inspect it and reject it. I think they should provide a couple of spare breaker spaces in panels. You can get around it by just using tandem breakers anyway.

If you were too look at a commercial panel with 42 circuits and added up the ratings of all the breakers, it would far exceed the main breaker rating. It works because of what's called diversity - only a small percentage of the total of the ratings is being used at any one time. Same thing with RV panels.

Your able to turn your fridge and hot water to gas thus eliminating going over 30amps.
