On this 5er, the ground is in the pass-thru by the battery...and being these 5er's are fiberglass, or similar product, each light fixture with have 2 wires running to it...one power, one ground....take a length of wire, connect to ground on battery, then the other end to a 12 volt test light, back probe the light....if light lights, you've got power....switch terminals on battery, back probe other wire, light should light again as you'll be on groud side of light....no light, no ground...

I finally got a chance to troubleshoot the lighting problem. Starting with the top back marker lights, I removed the working light and the non-working light next to it to access the wiring. Using a multi-meter, I determined that I did have a good ground to the non-working light by connecting one lead to the hot wire of the good light and the other lead to the ground wire of the non-working light. After fishing the wire connectors out of the hole in the back wall, it was discovered that the squeeze connector connecting the hot wire between the two lights was insufficiently squeezed. A good snugging by the pliers and all lights are now working again.

Thanks again for all the helpful posts!
