Coach battery not charging from Automobile Alternator

On my new Sunseeker 2012 Model 2300, the Coach Batteries do not charge from the automobile Alternator charging system. All else seems
fine. They charge from the AC generator & the land 110 line.
I am sure i was told they would charge from the Auto Alternator (Ford V10)
but they do not. Is this a feature I may not have? How do you check that? Could there be a fuse blown? Where would that be?
Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have voltage on the charging circuit at the plug? I have heard that some vehicles do not have the necessary relay installed from the factory. In some instances the relay had to be purchased seperately, or in other cases the relay was left in the glove box or somewhere else for you to install. Check your manual and good luck.

Although I cannot speak for your vehicle....

I wrote earlier about this subject stating, from the factory, our new PU did not come with the fused charging wire plugged in at the fuse box. Even tho' the PU is trailer equipped, the wire at that location wasn't connected, and actually isolated. I'm guessing that you may have this same problem.

You should consider reading the earlier post regarding relays, should you decide to install, or have one put in. Some may ruin your computer/DIC in the PU, so check with an authorized dealer before you have your RV people, or you, stick one in.

Otherwise, I'd certainly do as previously suggested, use your volt-ohm meter at your PU and trace the problem this way.
