Coachmen Freedome Express 292bhds battery charging on shore power

Just got our new 292bhds and took it for one night shake-down trip.

After being plugged into 50amp shore power for 18 hours, with the 50 amp still plugged in the battery read 1/3 full on the status panel.

All of our electrical outlets and the AC unit were working fine, so it was getting shore power. I just don't think it's charging the battery while plugged in, and all the 12V things like the lights, slide, awning, stereo were draining the battery the whole time.

All of my previous trailers showed full on the panel when testing battery when plugged into shore power.

When we got home and disconnected from the TV, after towing it for 2+ hours, the battery showed full again.

Can any other FE owners confirm that when plugged into shore power their status panel shows the battery to be full?

I'm trying to figure out if this just works differently than my previous campers, or if something is amiss with the shore power charging the battery.

It's a 2015 , everything is brand new from the dealer.

There are fuses between the battery and the convertor to protect the convertor. Check these. They should be 40 Amp fuses. They will blow if the battery is connected incorrectly or drained very low.

After checking everything I could myself I took it in to a dealership (although not the one I bought from) and they have diagnosed a bad converter and are replacing it today. Hope that does the trick!
