Connecting 2 generators together

I have a Honda 2000 companion generator and was wondering if it would be possible to connect it with a WEN 56200i 2000-Watt. I don't know where to even look for information on this. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with connecting a Honda with another brand of generator.

No! The generators must have their outputs synchronized...the generators that can do this (e.g., two Hondas made for that purpose) have that logic built-in.

Not unless you want to destroy one or both of them.
And not sure if the WEN is even parallel capable.
I'd hate to see you ruin an expensive Honda with a cheap Chinese product.

The generators have to have a paralleling circuit board (in both) for that to work. I do not know if two different types/brands would have the same circuit. I use two yamaha's

Most likely not. There is a lot more that goes into connecting two generators together ( synchronizing the outputs) than just connecting them together. Unless the Wen has a sync circuit that is compatible with the Honda, you will probably destroy at least one.

Per the Wen website re the parallel cable.
This parallel kit cannot be used for paralleling three or more
generators or running two different brands of generators

Gen's must be sync'd and in proper phase. Otherwise big bang. Just buy a 3,000w Honda and you can forget about par.... Problems.
It's only about $200 difference.
