converter

I think we lost our converter, the only way things work is with shore power. Once unplugged the breaker/fuse panel goes dead. I pulled it out this morning and there are no fuse on it to blow. My question is we where using our inverter before this happen, is it possible the inverter took out the converter? If so how do we prevent this from happening again?

If you have lights only when plugged in to shore power, your converter is working fine. Sounds like either dead battery or fuse between battery and converter is blown.

Year, make , and model would help. Sounds like your converter is working fine (it's what supplies power when you are connected to shore), but you hove lost supply from the battery.

Its a forest river super light. Battery's are fine Two 180 watt solar panels regulator shows 13.6 Volts 1.1 amp charge.Battery switch is working. Without shore or generator power nothing works. With the exception of the slides.

Look for one of these connected inline with your battery cable or close to your converter. It could be a resettable one with a small tab sticking out to reset. It may have tripped from to high of an amp draw from the inverter.
