We are plugged in at our house. The electrical to the TT keeps kicking off. We reset the GFI at house outlet and power comes back on for awhile. We are only trying to run the refrigerator in preparation for a camping trip tomorrow. The converter is not humming at all - is that OK? We have always plugged in our TTs at the garage and never had a problem before. Any ideas?
If you have a water heater with an electric heating element, you may also want to check and make sure the element is turned off. On a Suburban brand water heater, this element itself will draw around 12 amps when it comes on.
Also on the Suburban, this electric element switch can be hidden somewhat and forgotten about.
