Converter Noise

We have just purchased a used 2009 Wilcat 31TS. Now that we are home we notice the converter making a 'whirring' noise for 2-3 secs. before the fan comes on. The fans come on and run a few seconds and stops. It cycles about every 20 secs.. We did not notice this during the walkthrough and we spent about 15 min. looking at and going over the panel. It is loud enough to be annoying while watching tv. The tv is at the rear and the converter is at the top of the steps. At the dealers lot it was plugged in to a 30a service and at home it is plugged in to a regular outlet. Could somehting have happened on the way home to make the cycle louder? At home there is a minimal load - just a few lights and the tv. Any thoughts, comments, or do I have a problem? Thanks

It is a Parallax 7100 series.

I noticed same thing recently this weekend, not sure either why it was louder than normal?
