Unless I missed it, I did not see anything about what you are running on battery (12V). If you have are 3 way fridge is it running on 12V? As for the battery charging during towing, unless you have made some major mods to the TV wiring, the amount of charge you get during towing is just above what is needed to cover the parasitic draws so no real charging. Before you replace items or add items, you need to determine what your current draw is.

I think Mr.M needs a new voltmeter that is a little more accurate.

Thanks Flybob. Basically the only thing running on the battery overnight was the refrigerator running on gas. Just got back from having the battery load tested. It dropped a cell so I purchased a new one.

source verified ! twice now in the last 2 days source voltage meter and charger . battery today was 60% 12.58 volts . fully charged 13.2 to 13.5 . maybe you should pick up a meter and go do some checks and not rely on some charts

There is something really wrong with your readings.
60% charge should be 12.24v not 12.58v which is a bit over 80%
A fully charged battery (100%) will be 12.73v after the surface charge has dissipated. You will get a reading of 13.5v only while the surface charge is still there.

We just got back from a trip and by the time we reached our stop for the night (Walmart) the battery was completely dead. The next morning we went to our destination and I plugged the trailer into my generator. The indicator light on the panel showed fully charged when we went to sleep that night, but it was dead the next morning again. I'm assuming that the battery is toast, but I had some questions I was hoping someone could answer. First, shouldn't the battery be charging when hooked up to my truck when towing? Second, I have a Battery Tender trickle charger, will that work for charging at home or should I get something else. Thanks for you help

Your truck should charge the battery unless it is like mine I had to put in a relay under the hood for the truck to charge my battery used to come with the vehicle when new and they kept it in the glove box or behind the seat. Newer trucks I'm not so sure tho. Since I keep my trailer at home it is always plugged in and has always been fine.

What he said! You won't over charge on a battery tender brand charger!
Once upon a time- I bought a knock off battery charger from Harbor Freight. It looked like a battery tender but was cheaper. It cooked the battery in my motorcycle over one winter. Now I use only battery tender Jr on my truck, RV, lawn mower and motorcycle. No problems since.

If you are in an area that has frequent severe thunder storms, I recommend checking battery maintainers after bad storms. I have several Battery Tender (TM) and several CYTEK maintainers. I have had one damaged by a power surge during a storm and the device stopped managing the charge rate and damaged the battery. This was not a device issue.
