Dead Elec. System 2018 Catalina

Went up to campground. No power to anything. Can't check the converter because slides are in. Possibly 2.5 yr old battery? Plugged into shore power. Thanks for the suggestions.

That is what has happened here you started a new thread with "Dead electric system". You answered somebody's question but we can't tell who's question or what it was. Then you did it again with "Dead Battery. Again only use the title box only on your 1st post on the subject you are asking about. I have forgotten what you issue was about and don't remember what has already been posted because the thread is gone. Hit the quote button on someone's question or statement and that persons response will appear before you. Then you start typing after the word Quote in parentheses. See the box above with your name in it. I did not type that. The forum soft wear did.

That way everyone else can see what I typed and what your response was.

Now, I think we are still trying to figure out which system you are saying does not work. 120 or 12. Is this correct? Remember, Quote and the start typing after the word Quote at the end of what appliers in front of you. I think I said that right

We need more info. Things to try..............

!. Your slides are 12V so a totally dead battery could be part of the problem but, I assume that when you plugged into shore power that you checked to make sure that the breaker was on at the pedestal ?? Is there power to the campground pedestal ?

2. Have you tried to reconnect your tow vehicle to see if the slides would open while connected to it?

3. Is your trailer battery dead or ? Did you check to see if there is a fuse or reset coming off the battery under the tongue?

4. What type / model camper do you have ???

Good Luck !

cavity, his name is danly, not danely. I agree folks should use the quote function but you say you can’t figure out which question he is answering. There’s only one question before his answer and that is “do you have a multimeter?” asked by bikendan. This is his first post since Oct. 2017. What are you talking about?
