Exclamation dim led on furrion main power connection with vid

I think its moisture causing this little led to act up, any input will be helpful. As soon as I touch the metal cover lightly it goes out telling me im taking the current from it with my body. Shaking or wiggling wires does not affect it. Any other ideas??

Just an update. I took it all apart and the resistor is bad so I'm going to fix this my self. Not much behind the cover just this.........so anybody wants to know - now you do!
Moisture was the culprit.

ID:	71675Did some research and fixed it my self with a 100k ohm 1/2 watt resistor and new led lamp(radio shack that was still open). I think the resistor or led was bad. Really not water resistant either since hot glue was used from assembly - now it sealed with silicone.

Thank for the info

Mine did the exact same thing! Opened it up and found water damaged both led and resistor. I did a similar fix and then coated it in silicone and reassembled.

Bluewoo, Alberta: how'd you open up the cover to get to the electronics? I removed the 4 phillips and got the hinge cover off. Now what? Peel back the gasket or pry off the outside brushed steel escutcheon?

My 2104S died shortly after I got it...never bothered fixing it. I may have to see about waterproofing the next one when it gets here as it looks to be the same design. Does it look like just pulling the gasket and silicone sealing it will work?

Yes and surge protection may help too.
