Your trailer has 30 amp service. They do make an adapter so you can use your plug into the 50 amp service plug but you will probably never need it. I have never seen a CG that had 50 amp service that did not have 30 amp service. Normally if they have 50 they also have 30 amp. There is no advantage to using a 50 amp service if you have a 30 amp plug to use, your trailer is only going to use 30 amps. As the name implies, it is an adapter and switches the wiring around so you could use a 50 amp plug if you had to.

It's rare, but it happens. I know youroo has posted pictures of one.

The strangest that I saw, a 30amp spot that didn't have a breaker for me to turn off first.

Turbs you have not been around much then. Lots of CG have only 30 and also only 50. Stayed at several this year so remember when making reservations ask for the service you want. Matter of fact our trip for this weekend to Darlington CG we had to ask for 50 as that is what we have. Later RJD

One advantage to using a 50amp socket with a 30amp rig, is the 50amp socket is usually not as worn out as the 30amps. I've seen some that couldn't even hold a plug in.
