Do you have defective LED lites in RV?

Presently located in Yuma, AZ and experiencing dim LED ceiling lites as well as totally burnt out lites. There are a total of 25 LED ceiling lites in the 2015 Cedar Creek 5er (38FL) and each lite has 6 mini LED bulbs on a circular circuit board and a lens covers the board. Of the 25 lites, 15 are fully lit, 6 have only 3 of the 6 mini bulbs lit, and 3 are totally out. Yesterday I went to a Forest River dealer, talked to Service Manager and he informed me that Forest River purchased a huge amount of defective lites and to bring the unit in, whereas they will take pictures of said defective lites, send info to Forest River and then they will replace them. He said they are experiencing this problem in a lot of late model 2014, 2015 and 2016 Forest River RV's. I have examined the lites but cannot find "Made in China" on any of them but if I was making a defective product I wouldn't put my name on it either. Checked with parts dept at said dealer and they informed me each lite is $16.47. That's $411.75 plus labor to replace all. I am now extremely thankful I extended for 2 years the Forest River warranty. It expires in July of this year. Having faulty LED lites? Take your unit to a Forest River dealer. I have come to the conclusion that RV's are built to sell, but not to use!!!

It is my understanding the lights have a lifetime warranty.

That's interesting. My dealer claimed the bulbs were not even covered by the extended warranty (1 year add-on by Forest River).

I had to replace the LED strip, which was hard-wired in to the A-frame. Replacement part was $30, which included the whole assembly.
