Question Electric Fireplace

We have a 2015 Cedar Creek 38CK. When we turn on the fireplace it will blow out warm air initially but then stops and only cold air will blow out. Can anyone tell me what may be the problem?

Use the remote to increase the temp you want it to stop heating. It sounds like the temp is set to low. Press the up button on the heat side as you watch the fireplace. A digital number should appear and go higher with each push

I’m sure you can also do this from the flip up lid where you initially turn it on

Electric Fireplace

We don't have a digital fireplace. We have tried turning the heat up and down. We have turned it up but nothing helps.

This doesn't seem like the symptom of having the thermostat set wrong. When the heat stops, the blower should stop.

We can't seem to figure it out and the blower does not stop when the heat does. Wondering if it could be the thermostat.

On my unit the blower runs even if not heating. What does your on/off panel look like? Does it have an on/off button and then any other buttons. Take a pic of you can.

It's still early in the diagnosis, but it's sounding like the heating element may be bad. Make sure there are no obstructions in the vent causing the element to overheat.

It does have an on/off button and another knob to regulate the blower all on the top of the unit. The remote is strictly for on/off. We are in Michigan and the 5th wheel in in storage right now. We will be taking it out of storage in a couple weeks to have some work done on it and new tires on it in preparation for a long trip we will be taking in the spring.

When we get it out of storage we will check the heating element. Thank you. It is a start.
