Electrical charging problem

First Visit...hello everyone! I have a 2000 Cardinal fifth wheel and having problems charging my new battery. When the trailer is connected to 110 land line it won't charge my battery for the unit. I assume it may be my converter, but owner's manual doesn't tell me where it is located. I have spent a lot of time looking for the converter....Does anyone know where it may be hiding?
Thank you

Corrected for you.

They can be in a variety of places. Mine is beneath the fridge but I don't know where it is in a Cardinal.

Welcome by the way.

You need to eliminate the current limiter right before the battery first.

Looks like:

Press the black button on the side.

Also if the battery is DEAD (less than 6 volts) the converter will NOT come on in order to protect your camper and the converter. Remove the battery (not physically - electrically by removing the wires) and charge it with a 3 stage battery charger.

If you can find the breakers and fuses, you found the converter. Some Cardinals just inside the door, on right. Others to left pf stairs, down low. Will be behind a slotted/vented door.
