Electrical problem

I lost power to all my AC outlets on my 2012 Sandpiper 340RL, CB'S are closed. Please help.

Check pedistal for power or whatever power source you're plugged in to
Check camper power cord for continuity
Check main breaker in camper

Power into the RV appears to be ok, Air Cond. works. None of the AC outlets have power, CB's are not tripped at the power panel inside the RV. Just wandering, is there another power box location?

Most likely you have a GFCI outlet tripped. Many campers have one near a sink, but possibly one in both the kitchen and bathroom.....sometimes you can find them in storage compartments/pass thrus.

If the GFCI trips, then all the rest of the outlets are wired in series downstream from the GFCI and also will not have power.

Find any GFCI outlet (you will have at least one, maybe more), and press the reset in it and see if this solves your problem. This is a very common problem too, with the GFCI either being tripped, bad, or a loose wire inside.




This schematic shows how the slave outlets are wired in series to the GFCI master outlet. You can also use this to test and see if 120 volt power is reaching the GFCI, then passing thru to the other outlets.

How big is your camper? Possible all circuits start and now end with a faulty GFIC outlet. Have you located one? Try to reset it or renew it. Other possibility is a faulty beach circuit brk in that panel you mentioned, it's the only one. A closed handle is not always a closed circuit.

Ok, thanks a bunch! I did check to see if the Gfci had tripped, but as you suggested there may be a loose wire or even the GFCI might be bad.
