Electrical problem

Rockwood 8329SS travel trailer...

Outlets in bathroom, (light on GFCI outlet on)
Outlets in bedroom also not working.
All others are working...
Replaced the GFCI outlet in bathroom, no change.
All breakers engaged in the electrical panel
At the end of my knowledge.
Need fix.

Turn your Main CB off and remove the outlets in the bedroom. Check the rear of the outlets for broken or dislodged press-in connectors. Those press-in receptacles are cheap chinese junk and are very prone to internal breakage when plugs are inserted. It could also be another outlet on that circuit that has a broken connector and is not passing voltage to the bedroom. I've replaced all of mine with Leviton NEMA5 receptacles from HD.

That sounds like a tripped or bad GFCI outlet. The light usually indicates it is tripped. Maybe you have a downstream short and it immediately trips the new GFCI when power is applied. Try connecting only the line wires, leaving the load wires disconnected. Does the GFCI outlet then work? If so, does it trip once the load wires are reconnected and then powered up? If so you have a down stream short. You will have to just work your way downstream until you isolate the short. Be careful, kill the power before opening up outlets.

Being a layman...
Line wires...?
Load wires...?
How do I determine, "downstream"
Just want to be sure...
Thanks for feedback, don't want to burn the place down or make a visit to the cardiologist...

Line is the hot wire that brings the power to the outlet.
Load is the wire that takes the power from the back of the outlet and carries it to the other outlets "down stream."
With the power off pull the outlet and free up the two black wires so they are not touching anything. Turn the power on and, using a volt meter or tester, see which wire is energized. This is the line wire, the other one is the load wire. It matters which terminal each is connected to. The outlet is usally labeled and the box instructions explain which terminal is which. You are dealing with dangerous electrical currents. If you are not totally comfortable with this bring in an electrician!

This is usually true, but not always. I have some where a green light glows showing it is NOT tripped, but those are not common.

Ok to clarify
Red flashing or steady light on gfci is tripped if you do have a green light it should be working.

Your 8329SS is the sister to my Flagstaff Classic Super Lite 832IKBS. They both have the same floor plan.

You say the breakers are on. Have you turned them off then back on? Some breakers don't look tripped when they really are. If that doesn't fix the it then the problem could be a loose wire either at the breaker, the GFCI or even a bad breaker. You don't have to worry about any outlets down stream until you find what is keeping power from reaching the GFCI. GFCI's will not reset if there isn't power to them from the breaker.

Not all GFCI's have lights on them to indicate whether they are good or tripped.

In case you don't know there is another GFCI on the end of the sink counter facing the entry door. I think they are both connected to the same circuit breaker.

You need a meter, even a cheap or free harbor freight meter will work.
