Electrical problem??
Yesterday I went to put out the slides, and when I did, it knocked the AC offline and the lights went dim, and the slide motors were "dragging so to speak".
I was hooked up to my 50 amp at the time.
Anyone out there have any advice for me?
Thanks.
Todd.

You check your RV's main breaker as well as the outside outlets breaker to see if they have tripped?

Converter breaker tripped or converter fried.
Turbs
Edit;
What exactly "ac" went offline ?
Your lights and slides are dc voltage.

The main AC in the living room. It was only off for about 20 seconds and then it came back on. where would I look to find the converter?
Thanks.

By a/c your referring to the air conditioning?
Did your lights come back on bright?
If you have a wfco distribution center the converter is inside it.

If all is working now I'd just see if it does it again.
My other post only applied if the power was still out.
So when the power went out "20 seconds"
That's what's weird I'd be concerned about a a/c voltage electrical issue.
When it went out the power was also out to converter which is why the lights dimmed.
Converter is most likely fine .

It has done it again. Seems like every time we move the slides it is a major draw on power.

can you move your slides with everything else off? there are 'resets' for your slides in an other area besides the converter box.

Perhaps you have some loose or corroded battery connections. The higher energy draw from the slides is causing enough voltage drop that the thermostat "resets" and shuts the AC off. (Having the compressor off for only 20 seconds may damage the compressor!)

Just went out and turned the battery switch off. Everything worked normal. Turned the battery switch back on and everything works normal. Go figure!!!!
Thanks for all of the advice though. If anyone has any more, I am all ears.
Thanks.
Todd.

This is what I'm thinking.
