Extension Cord Adapter
Has anyone found an adapter that will allow you to plug a standard household extension cord directly into the trailer's power input socket without having to use the heavy 30A cord? I like to work on my trailer while it's in storage and would like to avoid dragging out the heavy cable just to adapt to a regular 15A extension cord. I've searched high and low with no luck.
I know it's not exactly a big deal, but it would be pretty convenient. Thanks as always for any input!

I looked for one like that but couldn't find it.
I think the solution is to buy a standard extension cord and get a replacement end that will match the camper power connection, cut off the extension cord and put the replacement end on to make one for yourself.

Now there's an idea! Can't believe I didn't think of this before, I'm always making gadgets like that. Thanks for the tip!

I bought my SS2300 new/used and it has an adpter that connects the 30 amp cord to an extention cord. Sorry I can't tell you the make or where you can buy one, but it exists!

Amazing, while looking for the parts to make an adapter as suggested I find this:
https://www.amazon.com/Epicord-Campe...+rv+plug&psc=1
Thanks to everyone for the responses, I guess my Google skills need a little sharpening up!

Amazon has everything.
I already had a couple really heavy gauge 120V extension cords. All I needed was the twist lock adapter plug, and I can run my camper either from household current or my generator. Of course, I have the other type of adapter for the other end so I can plug my camper power cord into a regular 120V socket, too.

Great Dougs think alike.. I was thinking about this exact thing the other night- a 50amp to 20amp extension cord for my generator. I'd buy a 5' (my generators get bumper mounted and my camper plug is back there) one in a heartbeat.

Ebay appears to have some a little cheaper than Amazon; worth a look. Stay away from Camping World if at all possible.
