Fan-Tastic Fan not working

Hi All!

Our Create-a-Breeze Fan-Tastic Fan FWD8000 in our 2010 Rockwood Roo quit working.

I checked the fuse and it is fine. I followed the advice from another thread and went up top and checked the plunger switch and it was not stuck and seemed to be fine as well but I cleaned it anyway. At one point when I was up there and cleaning the lid, the fan suddenly turned on and started working again, but when we shut it off and tried it again, it would not turn back on. I was thinking loose wires so I climbed back on top and tried to take it apart to check the wire connections, but I cannot figure out how to get to where the connections are. Is the motor a sealed unit? Do I need to take the entire fan assembly apart in order to check the other connections? I would assume not as I see that the fan, motor and bow-tie bracket assembly can be replaced. I figured out how to remove these parts but can't figure out how to get to where the wire is attached to disconnect it (or reconnect a new one) anyway. I would really rather not have to pull the whole thing apart including where it is sealed to the roof. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Well, nevermind... I just went back out there and it is working again. Hopefully it stays that way. I can't figure out how to delete this thread.

Did you remove the interior trim plate that is screwed into the ceiling? You should be able to access the motor wires there?

I took my rig in because the bathroom creat-a-breeze was not working and learned the power for that fan was from the bathroom wall switch. I have to have the light switch in the on position and then turn the two light off at the fixture to run the fan without the light.

I have the same problem.
I was told it is the fan speed control switch 3x
The replacement is only a 1x speed control.
If I turn the control all the way up until fan starts than I can reduce speed as desired.
