Filling the gap...

OK I'm about to drill a 1" hole in my floor ( ) to run my 2GA cables to the battery (5 feet long) to connect to my 1000W Xantrex inverter.

What would recommend I use to fill the gap around the wires/cables to prevent moisture and critters from coming in ? Caulking ? what type ?

I looked at the other holes from FR where the propane line comes in, but cannot figure our what they used.

Thanks.
