Floor strip lights remain on at all times

Hello, My first RV here and have a question? I have some floor strip lighting by entry door on the inside that does not shut off. I got my trailer home yesterday and they where on all night. Is this a safety thing? is there a door activated switch or something thats broke? Next will be this keyless entry(don't work and dealer was clueless on it. thanks in advance. I can't find a switch for it. All switches accounted for and turned off. Do you think previous owner may have hot wired this. They are on outside of trailer door too. They look nice butni would like to be able to turn them off and save the battery.

I couldn't find anything about there being lights on that unit, so I suspect the PO installed them. They're not remote controlled are they? You didn't find a unidentified remote laying around did you?

Do you have a battery disconnect? If so, try turning it off and see if they go off.

OMG When I was picking up the trailer there was an unidentified remote that we could find out what it was for. Opened it up and the batteries leaked all over rendering it pretty much useless so we tossed it. You wouldn't have any idea what brand it is? It was a silver/metal color (alot of good that does) Could I get a replacement remote or are they just trash in your opinion.

I do not have a battery disconnect that I know of but plan on installing a marine one by the battery on the outside of trailer so I do not have to disconnect battery for storage.

There are so many different ones out there, but you can look at remote controlled LED strip lights and see if some look familiar.
