Forester- adding light switches on wall

My new Forester has the control panel located above the refrigerator. The DW can hardly reach the light switches for the only kitchen switch and living room. There is another living room switch in the entry step area. She definitely can't read the labels.
So, I would like to add a double switch on the wall about 2 feet away from the panel. Easy access to the location as the wiring gang runs down the wall in the space next to the fridge. Both living room switches are SPDT and the kitchen is SPST.
I do know that the 12v positive goes directly to the lights and this wiring is on the negative side to complete the circuit. I want to keep the control panel switches operative. It would be easy to make them non functional and just run the existing wires down.
The kitchen should be easy as I can buy 2 SPDT switches and wire it so either can turn on and off. But the living room that already has that function will be confusing to add a third switch and to allow each to turn the lights on and off.
Without spending hours trying to figure how to wire it, any electricians out there that can give me some help.

I pulled a line today for wire to add a water pump switch over by the bathroom sink. Have to get about 35 feet of wire, probably 14awg for the WP.
I will have to order online for the STDP or DPDT as soon as I figure out a wiring diagram for both switches/

Take a look at this. It is a 12v remote controlled relay. Worked great for adding a new location for some poorly placed switches. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_n...+remote+switch

This might be of help if you cannot pull wires. It is a 12v remote controlled relay. You can locate the relay in the wall behind existing switch and use velro to attach remotes in any location. The relay will act in parallel to the existing switch - not a 3 way operation. No wires need to be pulled. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=sr_1_1&sr=8-1

Wire paths are all pulled with cord and awaiting me to pickup the wire. Then comes the part where I have to be so careful not to break a blade off the switches and figure out with wires to combine.
