Fuel station not working

Have a stealth 2011 toy hauler. Fuel pump station not working. Took pump apart and sanded gears. Now when I turn fuel station timer switch and measure voltage at pump it starts at 10 volts and quickly drops to below 2 volts. Even though I haven't be able to find an inline fuse I would think if the fuse was blown there would be no voltage at all. I then unplugged pump control timer and measured voltage at the plug and it is a full 12 volts. Do you think bad timer could affect voltage at fuel pump motor. Also does anyone know where inline fuse could be located. Appreciate any help !!!

This kind of thing is why I refuse to even try to put fuel in the tank and use it! I have a 41 gal transfer tank w/pump and meter in the truck bed.

I have a 100gal homemade tank with a 12 volt pump that I use to pump diesel in the truck, I have to stop every so often anyway and I just pump more diesel in truck, takes about five minutes, use the bathroom and I'm on my way

Check and clean the connections at the timer and the switch off on switch at the frame !! You should also run Lukus fuel treatment . On my 3rd toy hauler and have never had to take my pump apart ,knock on wood. I have had to replace the plastic gears on my work truck before years ago

Appreciate your reply. It seems I am the only one with electrical problems. I will try cleaning connectors. Seems very odd to get some voltage and then see the voltmeter drop. Do you know if there is an inline fuse and where it might be? Again thanks for your input!!
