Furrion fireplace wont turn on

There was an power issue at a state park. Everything turned off last night and TVs smoked. Came home and hooked up the 50 amp service at our house and everything works including surge protector. Only thing that is not turning on is the fireplace. We checked the breaker and even plugged a lamp in to the socket. The lamp turns on. Any ideas would be great. Thank you
