Furrion Solar Charge 10A 2015 Freelander 26rs

I recently purchased a 2015 Freelander 26RS and noted the Furrion Solar Charge 10A plug to the left side of the door. From what I have been able to find out, the plug requires an input from a solar panel regulator since there is none inside the coach. I assume the wires go to the battery directly. The plug that I see looks proprietary and not like the plugs that I have seen on other solar panel / regulators. Anyone have any idea how to use this thing and where to purchase the plug/regulator for it?

Solar Panel

I would check with Coachman or your dealer since when I bought my 2016 21QBC and saw the solar connection I also thought it was non-standard. My dealer had a Furrion folding solar panel that fit the connection (95 Watt) for $650 which I thought was too expensive. I found it online for $499 and learned that it has a controller built into the panel.

I looked at others online and while they do not have the proper plug they are much less expensive and all the ones I found have a charge controller. I am not sure what if anything is built into the vehicle. See eBay link for a 120 watt for $235 with a 15amp controller. 120W Portable Folding Foldable Poly Solar Panel Kit 12V Charger RV Boat Caravan | eBay

Thanks for the reply. I believe the only thing internal is an 8 amp fuse to the battery.
