Fuse (?) Switch on Dashboard

I have a Forest River Georgetown. When I bought it, the guy explained what the 2 switches are on the left-hand side of the dashboard (above the power mirror switch). I remember that the "battery symbol" switch is for jumping the coach battery to the chassis battery (in case the chassis battery is dead), but there is another switch there with a picture of a "fuse" on it. They call it a "bypass switch" that acts as a "dead switch". My question is....what exactly does this switch do?

Thank you in advance,

Barry

It could be the coach battery disconnect. Turn on a few 12 volt items. Bath fan, a ceiling light. Turn off the switch and see if they stop functioning.
