I have a pair of Honda 2000 units for my RV and Champion 3100 inverter model for the LQ horse trailer. Both setups work equally well. I only prefer the Hondas because of the weight. The heavier Champion is rarely removed from the pickup bed.

That's exactly my setup. Great way to go. A couple of months ago I saw that my Yamaha's gas gauge was reading empty and since I was leaving the campground the next day decided to run the engine dry. That was around 5:00pm. At 10:00pm, quiet time began and it was STILL running! I had to continue running it in the morning while packing up. That 1 gallon goes a LONG way!
