My Yamaha 2400 inverter would start and run the A/C on my previous NASH as well as the A/C on my friends Montana 5er. Both A/Cs were 13.5K. I have not tried it yet on my new Flagstaff although it is a 13.5 also.

I had a 2500 that would start our old campers ac but when it was in the beating sun it wouldn't run it at all. My 4000 would run it all day long without any problems, would have to think a 3500 + because as we all know once you sit down in the ac your going to turn on something else (tv, microwave, blender).

without the ac my 3500 non inverter runs everything else...when on genny i usually leave the wh and fridge on propane, BUT ive left the fridge on auto and have never had an issue...even with the fireplace running i can run the microwave and have no issues....

at a camp grounds or at home on 30amps everything pops right on but there is virtually no lag/voltage drop on pedestal/home power....you are still limited to 30amps but those breakers are slow to flip so they tend to handle surge amps temporarily ok.....
