Generator stuff

Hi everybody, I know this is probably supposed to be posted to some generator thread but I couldn't figure out how to do it so it's a new thread.
I just bought a new coachmen clipper 15 footer and I have found a generator for sale that's practically brand-new. It looks like this
Duracell Generators - DG20R1 one hour on it for $325.

Has anyone used this and what do you think?

Thanks

at 65 db and 128 lbs that is both loud and heavy. Most gen's in that weigh class are around 5k.

With no idea on who makes the engine, have to assume this is like most re-badged gens out there.

I bought a sued black max brand (which I think is made by Champion) with a Briggs engine off CL for 200. It looked like it had never been run, still had the paper tags on the throttle and choke levers. It is 7500 max, 6K contious. Weighs around 125 lbs.

Good point about the sound etc. Seems pretty heavy to me too. Probably good for construction but not for travel.

I agree noise level high and it's heavy. The price seems right... without running it and seeing it.

unless you need to run the a/c, there's no need for such a loud and heavy generator. way overkill for a popup.
no way is that appropriate for a campground. fine for motor races or boondocking, though.
