Generator using oil.

I have a 2014 sunseeker 3170DS. Generator is used a lot. Roughly 260 hours on it.

Seems when I check the oil level every month or two it's always at the "add oil mark". I top it off to the full mark and then the cycle repeats.

Onan?

Number of total hours ran?

Filter/oil changed when needed?

Some if not all generators are fussy like a two year old when not taken care of.

Maybe. How much oil do you add?

It's usually at the "add mark" when I check it. Then I top it off to the full mark. I check it roughly every month or two.

Just checking to see if it's normal for the Genny to use a little oil during its use.

So you add a few ounces of oil every 2 months? Is the genny being run frequently during this time?
If so, sounds normal to me.
