Genrac generator

I have a 2007 6500 watt genrac generator in a 334se Georgetown motorhome! The generator will not start! I push the start bottom and nothing! I can push the primer and the pump works but engine will not crank! I have 2 new batteries in the motorhome! It will not start from the drivers seat or right at the generator? Any ideas! I do have 12 volts at the generator? Help!

Make sure any fuse/circuit breaker on the generator is reset or good. Check and see if you actually are getting voltage to the starting motor when you hit the start button. It may be that the starter motor has gone south. I don't have a Genrac so this is a best guess on my part.

Not sure if this is a new to you unit or if this is something that just happened.
Some generators have a 'push and hold wait to start' when pushing the button to allow for priming and choke.

Well then you are going to need to do some circuit checking.
If there is no voltage at the starter, how about at the switch?

Try starting the motorhome and see if the genny will crank then. Are you disconnected from shore power?

Old school .... if you can reach the starter, try tapping on it with something like a screwdriver handle while you press the start switch. I've gotten starters, fuel pumps and alternators to work doing this as a temporary fix.

As previously stated you are going to need to do some circuit checking. Starting at the starter and checking everything in the starting circuit all the way back to the battery. If you can't see the starter then how did you check the voltage to the starter?
