GFCI wont reset

Brand-new camper. The GCFI won't reset and last night battery died. If it is bad would it keepbattery from charging.

Your battery is part of the 12 volt circuit, while the GFCI is part of the 115 volt circuit, so they are not directly related. In other words, a problem with one will not cause a problem with the other.
However, they are both syptoms of a problem that affects both of them. Possible with the converter.
A brand new camper with this problem probably should go to the shop.

Are you plugged into a GFCI. If you are this might be part of the problem. Do you have 120 volt at other outlets in the TT (microwave).

No not plugged into one. The trailers bathroom GFCI won't reset. We think that may be causing the battery to not to recharge when plugged into house

If the outlet that you are plugged into in the house is also on a GFI circuit it would be a problem, I discovered this with ours when I plug into the outside plug at the house the GFI trips so I plug into an outlet in the garage.

A GFI will not reset unless you are plugged in - it has to see 110vac to reset. This should not effect the battery charging. Are you getting 110VAC to other components? Can you check the DC voltage at the battery - if the charger is getting power you should see about 13.5VDC at the battery.

Do you have 120 volt at the microwave? Is the breaker for the converter tripped? The converter should not be wired with another item in the TT. What gauge is the plug you are using to plug into the house? Is there a break in the cord? There are too many items that could be wrong to make a diagnoses without see the exact problem. We can only guess what might be the problem.

As pointed out, the GFCI outlet in the bathroom will not reset until good power is restored to it. So, at this point it is safe to assume that 110 vac is not making it into your camper.
The first thing to do is ensure that power is being supplied at the outlet you are plugged into. I assume you are plugging into a regular 110 v wall outlet on the outside of your house, so try plugging a table lamp into that outlet to make sure it is actually working.
It's pretty much impossible to test anything beyond that without at least a multimeter. However, you can try resetting the main breaker on the breaker panel. That is, actually turning it off and turning it on.
The problem could be in your dogbone, or it could be where the camper's power cord attaches to the camper.
Did the air conditioner work when you picked the unit up from the dealer?

Spoke with them this morning. They believe the GFCI is bad and the converter is wired into it therefore causing the problems.

What type of trailer do you have? The converter should have its own 15 amp circuit. The GFCI should be on its own circuit and should not be wired up to the converter.

We have it at the dealer so thankfully it will be taken care of
