Golf batteries

In my 2013 Freelander 29q, can I install 2 golf cart batteries in the step compartment? Is the space tall enough?

I ask because I do not know.

What would the cart batteries have over what you have now?

I currently have 112volt. Bu having 2 6volt should get longer use time when not hooked up to 110v. Plus longer life with a cart battery rather than a regular deep cycle.
