Grape Solar Charge Controller Installation

Hi All,

Just wanted to show you my install of my Grape Solar charge controller. This particular controller comes in a 150 watt solar kit from Home Depot. You can often find it on sale for around $200 - $225. It comes with three 50 watt panels. I actually shattered the glass on one of the panels, but the protective cover held everything intact and it still works fine.

I made my reverse plug to work with the Zamp plug and ran the wire from the front of the trailer to the back where the radio was located. I put my wires through the same hole under the trailer. Then I relocated my outdoor light switch, and then placed my charge controller.

Currently, the wires from the charge controller to the solar panels are still loose. I am going to run them out a "zippered side" of my trailer so I have more mobility when relocating the panels for better sun.

I'm very happy with myself right now. :-)
