Heater/Water Pump Issue

Hi, Everyone.

We just bought a used 2003 Rockwood Freedom pop-up. The water pump and heater work fine when plugged into 110. But, they don't work when the pop-up is running off the battery. My husband thinks there is an in-line fuse somewhere that needs to be replaced but can't find it. Does anyone know where it is located or if you think this is the issue to begin with? Thanks so much!

OK let's eliminate some things first.
Have you checked the battery? Is it good?
tight connections on both poles and right wires going to the right poles?
Check all of the fuses in the fuse panel and the inline fuse from the battery.
What type of w/h do you have? Gas or gas/electric?
Not trying to make you feel dumb but the info you provided is a little limited for a good answer.

Thanks so much, Barry and dmf564. He doesn't think we have a water heater. He checked the fuses and they looked good but he doesn't know if/where the in-line fuse would be located to check it. He is going to charge the battery and check all of the things you mentioned within the next couple of days. Suppertime and getting all the kids ready for bed right now. Will be back to let you all know how things go. Thanks for the ideas and we'll follow up with you on them.

If there is an in-line fuse it will be somewhere on the positive wire coming off of the battery.
