Unhappy Help from my elders with electrical problems

Ok I have a ForrestRiver Work n Play 28ft Travel Trailer, it worked great the first couple years minus a few oddities like hot water coming to the toilet, hot water not lasting but a few seconds or minutes at a time while showering, in-line 50amp fuse on trailer tongue going out or causing charging or appliance issues, to name a few of the intermittent bs i have ran into. My main concern now is the battery charging issue, I have to hook up a battery charger 12volt to the battery and charge it while I am hooked to shore power/generator in order for the airconditioner or fridge or lights and other things to work. When battery is dead, nothing works, even while I am plugged into a 50amp shore power connection. I would love some input about what the problem is from someone who has experienced similar problems. Battery has been replaced, cables have been replaced in and around the battery and in-line fuse or circuit breaker has been changed several times, I still continue to have to charge the battery with another source in order for the camper to operate as it was meant to operate, long as I charge the battery everything seems to work like it should.

Now with that said, I have also had two small stereo amplifiers get burned up or shorted out while they were plugged into the outside outlet that allso seems to be tied into the GFCI circuit in the bathroom as it should be, at least I would think that is how it should be wired anyway. Would love to know what caused the amps to blow or burn up............I am scared to use that outlet for anything other than light bulbs now????

I have a brand new voltage center/ inverter that I purchased off of ebay 55amp replacement control panel for my camper but I am scared to install it till I figure out what the problem is...............i don't want to risk burning up this new control panel/inverter box cause they aint cheap.......between 300 to 500 bucks after shipping.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I need to get this fixed asap, cause I have a camping trip coming this weekend and next weekend, heck several weekends in a row since the season is now apon us!!!

Help!!!!

You mention inverter several times but you shold have a converter.
To me it sounds like its a wfco brand and there junk.
either way you do not have to replace the whole unit
you can just replace the converter / charger.
But I would recommend a progressive dynamics and install
It in your wfco control center.
Go on to wfco website there is a spot to download how to test your
unit so you know for sure.
When my 55 amp wfco went out I replaced it with a progressive dynamics
70 amp.
it was a little bigger and I had to modify the case slightly
took 15 minutes
Pm if u have any questions

Did you get the charge wizard pendant with it?
if not please do!
Like I said if you need more info let me know id be glad
To help out!
It really isn't bad to mod in that bigger charger.

Normally with those wfco units the fan goes bad and then they
Overheat and then there done.

I did get the one that said it came with the pendant, can't wait for it to get here..........I am ready to put all these problems behind me and get down to some serious camping..........Thanks again for everything. I think I can handle it from here but I will give you a hollar if I have any specific questions.

Thanks,

Ken
