Help Hooking up Inverter

I have two 6 volt batteries for my TT. They are wired as follows.
Batt:1 Negative to frame of TT
Positive to Negative of
Batt:2 Positive of Batt:2 to electrical system or TT power source.

My question is what terminals on which batteries can I hook the inverter to? I put Large Alligator clips on both ends of 8 gauge wire so I can just hook it up when I need it,I don't camp without power very often so I didn't want stuff hardwired in.Any help will be appreciated.

You would want to hook the inverter to the same terminals where you hook up the TT:
Negative to frame (or Batt-1 Neg),
Positive to Batt-2 Pos.
