Been dry camping at The Rally in Louisville, KY for the past 4 days. Rally was great and the Honda 3000iS generator ran like a champ. Ran for 16 hours per day used approximately 1 gallon of gas every 3 hours. I am very pleased with the performance. Ran 15K air conditioner, and microwave at same time with no trouble.
I absolutely love mine. It amazes me how quiet and fuel efficient it is. I ran the air conditioner at 9500 ft last week and it performed flawlessly. I don't regret buying it in the least!

I have 2-2000 Honda Gens. I want to make a extend fuel tank for them. Anyone good any suggestions etc. I already have the 6 gal boat fuel tank. I now need fittings, hose etc. I have seen where you buy a spare honda fuel cap and drill hole in it and add the fittings. This is the route I think I want to take cause it keeps the costs down. Looking for advice. Thanks...Ron

I am also running 2-2000 Hondas with the parrelel kit and would like to extend my run time with what you are talking about.
Camping World and most Honda motorcycle dealer sell a tank that looks like a boat gas tank. It has two fuel lines and two special caps that go on your generators. It gives you 6 gallons of gas instead of the gallon or so in each generator.

Yes I think I saw them but they want like $160. Do you have part # or something ?
