How do we wire a Battery disconnect switch?

We just bought a Wildwood Heritage Glen Hyper-Lyte 23RB travel trailer and it doesn't have a battery quick disconnect. We bought a switch yesterday....the kind that has a round red knob, but it doesn't tell you how to hook it up. We haven't added a 2nd battery & aren't sure if we will. Can anyone tell us how to hook this up? Thank you in advance!
