How many Aggies to change a lightbulb?

Looks simple but...

Outside step light is not coming on. Breaker/ fuses ok. Wires ok. Removed cover and bulb appears spent. But...I can't get the darn thing to pop out. Does the bulb itself come out or must you replace the entire fixture ? I've pulled, pushed, twisted gently...bulb will just not pop out. Socket area appears slightly corroded.
Anyone know what size bulb this is?

Looking like the problem could be more complicated than just a bulb. Neither the step nor porch lights are coming on (different switches). No fuses appear blown and the breaker has never tripped.
Any suggestions?

It looks like, and stress LOOKS like, a standard 906 bulb. I can see a hint of the socket underneath it. If it is...It will just pull straight out. If it's corroded pretty bad it may take some force to get it out, but it will come out.

Wear some good gloves or grab the bulb with a hand towel to get a good grip on it and also protect your hands if it breaks. Rock it back and forth while keeping a steady pulling pressure on it.

Finally got it out...with needle nose pliers. Yep broke the crap out of it. Replaced and is working. Used a 2 amp auto bulb (license place bulb). Now have to change out porch light. Kinda odd they both blew at the same time but at least it's not a wiring problem behind circuit breaker.
