How to access batteries under steps?

Hi guys, just bought a 2012 360 georgetown xl. I'm trying to access the batteries under the steps. It looks like there are two clips that lock it down. The dealer didn't give me any instructions or a key if needed? Please help... Thank you in advance.

easy. Just unhook the clips and lift up the stair. At least that works on our 2000 Georgetown.

You should have a big butterfly key looking thing. that is the key to unlock the steps and the same one opens the hood. Don't know the correct name of the chrome key.

Battery access

Thanks, as I mentioned on my 2000 Georgetown, a key isn't necessary: Just unclip the two fasteners. Pretty handy location to reach to check batteries. Have a good weekend. It's actually above freezing during the daytime here in southwestern Montana.
