yes, whatever your trailer is, 30amp or 50amp, is what you'll need.

If you install a microair easy start in your air conditioner, you will be able to run everything with a 2000 watt generator, if you are careful and don't turn everything on at once.

Generator

I had an older 3500 generator. Wouldn’t run the older air conditioner. Now I have a 5th wheel with a 5.5 ke onan. Ribs two roof air conditioners. And the microwave.
I also have 4 175 Watt solar panels. They can run everything except the AC. we run a small ice maker during the day time and watch an hour or two if tv at night. Fully charged by 11 am. We allmost never run the generator when boondocking because we are usually at high altitude in the summer.

Solar Panels

I ordered everything through Brian Boone, who is on Facebook, "Got Solar?" He has a web site with all the available materials. He now offers 200 watt panels, with the same foot print, and same price.
He travels and can do installs on the road, however he is in great demand. He can sell you anything you need if you wish to install yourself, and has already searched out best suppliers, best prices, and all panels are made in USA.
