How to check a converter?

Through a dumb mistake of my own while wiring in my PI power protector, I managed to mislabel one of my hot legs and my neutral and managed to provide half my Sabre with 240 volts in the breaker panel. I had a roll of 6AWG wire and was just using that wire and taping the ends in different colors (eg white, green, etc.) to note the difference. Apparently when I was cutting wire to length I wasn't paying attention and labeled my hot leg white rather than black. I guess that is what happens when you try to be frugal.

It zapped the TV, but otherwise seemed to miss most everything else. That being said, the only thing I am not sure about is the ac - dc converter. Any ideas on how I can check it out to make sure it is still OK?

By the way, what is the breaker marked "GEN"? I don't have a generator which would have been my first guess.

Here you'll find troubleshooting info.

You should have a wfco 8955.

Thanks again, Turbo. In looking at the tests for the converter, if I just check the dc voltage test wouldn't that likely suffice to tell if the converter is ok? If not maybe go through the rest of the tests?

I just keep kicking myself for something so stupid!
