I need to think that one through. The shelf I have in mind already has the inverter on it. I'll have to measure to rearrange. But you may be onto something.

EDIT: One reason (among others) that I like the portable EMS is to plug it into pedestal first........before plugging anything else. Then read what's what before plugging up. This would sort of eliminate that. Or not..........maybe. Maybe not.

Thinking. Hard for me today.........have other major trailer issues.

Double EDIT: The problem would be getting the anaconda 50 amp cable out of that door and into the receptacle on side of trailer 20 feet away. I

My TT has a 30A service so I use one of these with a 30 to 15 dogbone to confirm that everything is OK with the power pedestal before I park the trailer.

I will agree there! When we were rally hosts, or wagonmasters, it was really nice to take the portable Progressive EMS and check out all our assigned spots and ID any problems before folks started arriving to the rally!

I received the 30A Hughes Autoformer today. It came with a little digital AC volt meter and a short cable lock. How are you Autoformer owners securing it when it's plugged into the pedestal?

Ordered it from RVPartShop.ca on March 26th. They said they were out of stock and had to get a new shipment in before they could send it to me. If you ordered from the same place it should be on its way by now.

The guy that runs I found out used to run a Nationwide company DJ Unlimited then ERG Music. Seems to be legit operator but farms out warehouse operations like most online stores.
