Hum from PI EMS HW50C?

Well, I have my surge protector installed successfully. It is however giving a slight hum while it is operating. I assume this is normal operation of the electromagnet that closes the contacts. Is this normal to hear hum? Just want to make sure I don't have a problem.

Yes, it's normal if you're standing close to it. It shouldn't be so loud that you hear it throughout the RV however.

No, I only hear the hum when I am near it. Thanks for the feedback!

Mine hums too. Trying to make out the tune...kinda sounds like Dixie.
