Husky brute electric tongue jack issue

Got my rig home yesterday backed in to the driveway and because it was late I decided to leave everything until today. This morning I noticed the jack was down touching the ground?I can lift the leg up easily by hand? and the jack will not raise or lower the trailer even though the motor is running? As the unit is used I do not have the manual cranking handle.please any suggestions would be very welcome.

Most likely the drive shaft either came off the leg or snapped. If its still connected to the tow vehicle why not remove the jack (3 bolts) and attempt to see whats going on?

I suspect you need a new one.

My thoughts exactly. I'd check that before I did anything else.

Years ago I had the same problem.....Cannot remember what happened for sure.......I either put the jack too far out/down or vice versa
